Q: Where to go to get pants altered?

I got a pair of pants I got from home and need the leg altered. Where can I send it for alteration (in Beijing) and how much would you normally pay for it? In Canada, it is CAD$10 which is about RMB 60.

Hong Kong has best tailors. They never charge me for anything.

Normally (at least in the city I live at), when I buy new pants and need the length of the legs altered, I take them to my local laundry place, and have them cut them to my length, then wash.

I pay for cutting it and washing it under 15 yuan, takes two days.

I found a shopping place in Beijing that does alterations. The price is cheap and you can get it done that day. I'm not sure if you've ever been to the shopping area in Beijing the last one you'd probably see if you were to take a taxi to the airport. You can get it done there they have a little shop so you just have to look for it, but it's there.

Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China. So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards.
