Technology has come a long way in the last ten years ...back then if your phone had a camera built in you were at the peak of the technical advance tree.
Them came the so called smart phone with its Apps and GPS .
We went from Texting to QQ to wechat
You can use it as a wallet, camera , calculater and so many other things.apparently as for me it's just another thing that flashes 12 .
I thought Blue tooth was when you ate a blue ice block
And im to embarrassed to tell you about my thoughts on WiFi was.
I think if there is one function that highlights the change it would be the transition from the selfie stick to the selfie drone ...yes you read it correctly..the Selfie Drone .
But there is an innovation that has me shaking my head is the accessorie that lets you place your phone in a cradle so as you can watch your phone and keep you hands free to do such menial tasks such as ridding a bicycle. Ffs are you kidding me?
How many people walk into poles fountains rivers manholes or get cleaned up crossimg a road because they aren't watching what they are doing and in general not aware of their surroundings? Now they encourage you to operate vehicles without you full attention.
Maybe they should build in pedestrian radar ?
A proximity alert would be great to let you know when danger is close by..like a road or a pole...or when your wife is approaching while you are checking out a pretty girl
Which brings me to another point ..security.
You have so much of you personal life on there what would happen if someone found your unsecured phone and got into it ..bank account details password, banking details , photos , Porn , ...er ...maybe not that one .
And you can be tracked watched and heard by people without you even knowing it
So next time you pick up your mobile phone will you look at it differently?
Thanks for reading
As usual give it a Thumbs up if you liked it or a thumbs down if you didn't.
You don't have to comment just give me an idea if these post should keep coming.
Cheers Phil

It's funny how you can love and hate something at the same time. I remember a time when almost nobody had a cellphone - if you did people probably thought you were a wanker showing off by trying to look like a yuppie and it was the size of a brick.
Now most people won't leave home without them.

I wonder whether there has been a reduction in diseases being spread since hardly anyone handles money nowadays?
I find I'm using mine less and less as I get older. I miss books. I miss human interaction.
a few phone oservations...... fiirst the sad,,, get that one out of the way...
do u guys remember,, must've been less than 5 yrs ago a young woman fell into an open manhole,, dead... can't recall for sure if it was beijing or where,, but I think so... I never forgot that one and always wondered if she was on her phone when it happened... wouldn't surprise me if she was,,, still,,, what a shitty way to get smoked,,, just walking down a city street,,, and 'blammo'...... you're done....
on a funny note I luv to tell students my dad had a car pphone that took up the whole trunk,, and he would contact the 'Mobile operator' to place a call,,,haha,, they totally don't know wtf I'm talking about....
and talking about tech advances,,, I swear my old iphone 6s+ takes just about as good of pics as my fancy-azz Leica !! that trips me out, and pisses me off,, haha,,, and they claim next-gen of top-of-the-line smartphones will finally begin to rival DSLR's in photo quality,,, but still seems most pro-photographers maintain that your never gonna get the quality thru those little lenses on phones that have no real Opitical Length like u can get thru a real serious lens which is pretty standard on a DSLR, it's still pretty damn impressive for being a camera on a phone!

You can get external zoom lenses that clip onto IPhones and probably samsung to

I remember seeing a vid where a girl walked off a jetty or something similar while on the phone and the security camera showed her drowning. It was fucking horrible.
I've seen lots of funny ones where people fall into fountains and things though and they crack me up.

@phil,,,, oh,, I seen ads for those iPhone clip-on camera lenses,,, but I never checked it out,,,, I just assumed it was a rubbish toy. U mean there is something to them?

I know a kiwi guy in my city who is an amateur astronomer. He puts his phone to the viewer-thing and takes pics. He's shown me Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons but fortunately not Uranus, Phil
I thought, Phil lost his bone .... I read thread's title without spectacles ...

It's easy ... you must oblige to everything und anything, and you'll be able to put it back in use.
Remember, never say 'No!'. Don't even shake your head in the wrong direction.
Am talking out of my own experience-s ....
Technology as a whole is a blessing and a curse...few use it for good but much of others always try to exploit the negatives. Stay posivite and use wisely is the key
