hahahaha I still find the "oh my Lady Gaga" weird/funny . I do wish, however, that my students would stop referencing jumping out of the window every time I teach a new language point.
That and I'm tired of hearing the word badminton.
"What did you do yesterday?"
"I played badminton."
"What do you like to do in your free time?"
"I like to play badminton in my free time."
Etc. Like wtf plays badminton ?!
"Oh my God!"
"Oh my Lady Gaga!"
"My P-p-p-p-p-p-p-poker face my p-p-p-poker face."
"I no gay."
Hello, Harry Potter!" Even if you look nothing like Harry Potter, if you wear glasses they'll call you Harry Potter.
Though I have had my share of "Lady Gaga!" and "Justin Beiber", I am thoroughly tired of the "Mrs. Obama" and "Michael Jackson"s.
Hello
Maybe
How heavy are you
How many times a day do you eat
Is that enough food for you
why do you have animal hair
why is your nose so big
do you like China
I noticed I could write all day... I'm beginning to wonder if teaching them English is actually a good thing!? maybe it's better when we don't understand them...
how are you ?
I am fine and you ?
bye bye
maybe
reallyyyyy???
"it's too big" 'dont put your hands there" "stop looking at her breasts"
nevermind is right, I'm so tired of the phrase "have a rest." You could have been sitting for 3 hours on a train, the next time you're standing near a chair, they will say "have a rest" even if you only walked for 2 minutes. "Did you know" is also too popular, words like "beautiful" and "clever." Every time I hear someone insist that I am beautiful, I want to strangle them. Another annoying one is "You are so white, I am so black" or "I am so yellow." I have to correct them and tell them they are not black, they are tan.
