You'll need to specify exactly what information you're looking for; flights, cultural suggestions, rooms?
The much maligned Lonely Planet does give a very good overview of what a country has to offer.
I find skyscanner and kayak to be pretty good for flights.
Agoda is great for rooms.

travelchinaguide.com website offers all kind of information involving flights,both national and international,train and metros, long distance buses, Hotel booking etc., the website is in English, you only have to click on the information you need.
