Q: Which would be more attractive to Chinese women? Spanish or Italian?

I could pass for either and I was wondering which would be a better explanation for my skin tone and dark hair.

I've had problems in other countries where people think Spain is some 3rd world country near Mexico and thus have been put off.

Anyone know anything about this?

Just say you are from the same country that Spanish player is from Ronaldo. He plays for the portugal national team. Chinese girls love him you say that and your chances will be better than saying you are from either of the two you mentioned.

Dark brown or sun tanned skin is sign of poverty in China. Chinese assume, person with the tan 'must' be working, walking, and living outside, so he/she is tanned. Wealthy people in China don't do that, hence their skin is white/yellow.

Chinese don't fancy sun same as Americans or Europeans do.

Just tell them, you teach English outside, across the street, close to the new Construction site....all the time.

Last year, EU asked China for monetary help. Google: 'Mona Lisa would fit well on the Chinese Wall'.
Spain is EU country with the most economic troubles.

Go for the combo! Be Spanian or Italish. Why settle for one?

If you can't dazzle them with brilliance ...

...someone who looks either Italian or Spanish. Are you from Albania ?

Red_Fox:

Romania is a better bet.  Spanish gypsies in Andalucia originate from Romania.  They are called the "Roma".  Dark-skinned, hot-tempered, passionate to a fault (blood feuds, child-peddling), passionate to admiration (flamenco music, poetry).

Say you're Romanian.  That'll knock their socks off, bro.  They won't know what the hell you're talkin' about so that pretty much leaves it wide open for you to invent your new self. I'll help: You are now called Rudolfo.  How's that?  Sexy, eh?

A:Your potential employer is right! Purpose of the Medical exam before granting Z visa is to make sure, you won't be entering China in any abnormal and harmful to others condition.Few days after your arrival to China, you'll be required to complete another ME ... If ME in China will be OK, you'll get a Residence permit stamp into your book some 10-days afterwards. Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China.    So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards. Employer is not wrong at their demand for the pre-arrival ME from your home country hospital.   -- icnif77
