There are always places to party, I have been in 5th tier cities (aka. industrial shitholes full of peasants and some wealthy people) in far Sichuan in the middle of nowhere and there were still some clubs, tiny ones in back streets but they do exist. Go out, explore and you will find them.
The good thing is there will be drinking, dancing and plenty of sex.The bad thing is that it's just you and him at the party.
