for all you atheist, merry christmas, for all muslims, may allah see you soon.

Shining_brow:

Happy Saturnalia.

Happy Winter Solstice.

When's the Flying Spaghetti Monster's birthday??

Oh noes... Christianity is fading away (as have so many other belief systems)... do you want to mourn this?

The rant you linked is a waste of space. What's happening to Christianity is what the Christians did to many other beliefs... tough!

5 Laws That Could Send Santa To Federal Prison

While most people know Jolly Old Saint Nick as a friendly figure, he too is not immune from the perils of administrative overreach and overcriminalization... If Santa cannot even stay in line with every single government rule and regulation, how is the average American supposed to keep up?

icnif77:

The Radical Jesus: How Would The Baby In A Manger Fare In The American Police State?

Jesus was good. He was caring. He had powerful, profound things to say - things that would change how we view people, alter government policies and change the world, and when confronted by those in authority, he did not shy away from speaking truth to power. But what if Jesus, the revered preacher, teacher, radical and prophet, had been born 2,000 years later?

Happy Christmas all.

Wishing you heath (if you live in one of the many cities in China so polluted that schools are shut), happiness (a partner who does not sulk and pout like a 5 year old child at every minor disagreement), and good fortune (full salary paid on time)

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
