Q: Why is China safe for foreigners?

Why is china safe for foreigners? No seriously. Is it because there are cctv cameras everywhere?is it because of the law? Is it because chinese people are more civilizated than europeans?

Good question.  Different mentality for sure.  Whatever the reason I'm glad for it.

It depends on which aspect of health you are talking about,  physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, financial......etc.  Another question is, how sustainable is it (whatever aspect)?

Since most of us aren't priests and the Boxers aren't around we have less to worry about.  Keep in mind though CCP has the zombie remote controller.

China is on its way down and many of their own who have emigrated and returned for a quick visit are saying it is as if everyone is holding a lighter looking for petrol (their exact words).  Who will they lit up first?  All bets off.

well, i dont know London or UK for what it matters. You have a problems with guns, you muslim can be judged according sharia...well, thanks God (or the Queen) you left EU. And we glad for it.

Being said, that in south europe problems are mostly caused by immigrants.

when you have locals chopped because they try to enforce the rules for EVERYONE. When you got railways station, parks infested by this and the left wing scum destroying half of the city, then we got a problem. When you have animals raping 80 yo grannies who were actually helping them and so on, than you have a problem.

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
