Q: Why did I lose 22 points for posting 4 questions that I never posted?
Is someone messing with my account, admin?

i lost 30 points for things i never posted - i think a lot of people lost points today for some reason
there was a spammer deleted earlier - could be connected
I had the same. I can only assume torch stocks are low.
the counter used to go backwards sometime, answering questions is listed as 5 points not 2 in how to get. often i get no points. I 've lost huge blcks of pints, when pogger s profile was deleted i lost over 800, admin said ''oops''' i jst wish tht the site was fixed because trying to type sucks. I have to type slow and single, even slower than one finger typing

never tried for a flash lite, have ove 19,000 points and dn't care about them, just wish the typing issue gets fixed

the points are a real issue with me, and I am sure with many of us.... I get so mad when my flashlight doesn't show up.... gonna go to Beijing or wherever this place head office is an just rag on somebody.. the first secretary I see..... .my jackets are on their way and my flashlights too.... I can live with that for now..... ah what the hell... one of these days I am going to find out who the liar is... and get something from him... a drink maybe..something

What? Nobody's going after the jacket anymore? I thought I was the only one losing points cos I wasn't coming in as often as before. 
I lost 11 points, and I noticed that spammer popsting in my old topics too.
I ordered the shaver months ago; still haven't got it. I guess I'll have to pay up if i want to ditch my old razor.

Again, apologies. Yesterday we had a spammer come onto the wall and post over 300 adverts as answers and comments in the space of a couple of hours. In order to try and return things to normal we located his spam posts and deleted them all in one go.
Unfortunately if the spammer commented on your post, the post may have been deleted, causing you to lose points. This was an oversight on our behalf and we're very sorry about that.
Anyone with issues regarding redeeming points for prizes please send me a private message or email answer@echinacities.com

Can you explain why it was necessary to delete entire posts? I believe the 'spammer' was some wumao trying to get sensitive posts deleted, and you played into their hands with all the collateral deleting of non-spam posts. Some of the stuff I wrote shows up high on google searches, but is now completely gone from your site. As I said before, it was unintentional. The spammer was posting fairly indiscriminately; there were over 20 spams posts on admin answers which are reasonably innocuous, so I don't think that your post was targeted because of content.
Due to the sheer volume of spam, we tried to delete everything in one go which lead to some posts being deleted. This was careless and we apologize. We have restored points to people who have informed us of the problem but beyond that I'm afraid that we can only apologize and try our best to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I understand. That 1122 spammer was extremely intrusive, racking up hundreds of posts in a short time all over the board. I shouldn't cry conspiracy - gangrene needs to be amputated slightly above the infection, and quickly. Good call.
