Q: Why do people screw up the money?

I can't understand why the people here screw the money up, causing it to rip, especially the 50rmb note. Everyone knows ripped notes are hard to get exchanged. I am not talking about fake notes, by the way! Does China only print a certain amount of currency?

money rips,,, paper money is cheap to make which is why it is used instead of coins, which are heavy also... i don't understand why anyone is upset over tears, it's only paper and meant to be temporary.,,I don't know the answer to this,,, maybe because money is so precious to Chinese that they want it to be perfect.
