Are the customs in China strict? - im assuming you ARE ALREADY IN CHINA- soooo im assuming you have already experienced this.

Chess club in Beijing? - your joking right??

and last but not least....

Best Zen park in Beijing? .... ladies and gentlemen, the award for the biggest douche goes too......!

Mike is right, seriously WTF??

Q: Are Customs strict in the US?
A: No, not at all, you can just walk through with as much contraband as you like and get away with it, nobody checks you, no sniffer dogs around, they never ask any questions, you free to do what you like....

The thing thats worries me from this guy is that he had to ask if Chinese Customs are strict....why? What are you planning to do? If its something illegal, think twice, cos YOU will regret it if your caught....here's hoping!

And did you see the question he asked about where to learn to skin animals to let off steam? If that's not a psycho then what is. I have a theory that he has a personality disorder...in some earlier posts he tried to play himself off as being French, now for the most part he's trying to convince us he's American. But his English is nowhere near native level...

"Learn to skin animals to let off steam?" For the love of god, I have worries about this dude...another crackpot hiding in China, hope i never come into contact with him, i would be held responsible for my actions....does that make me into a question from him?

Q: "Is violence towards an emotionally disturbed Foreigner really necessary?"

A: "Towards you, damn yeah"

Coffaholic, if you go back to my earlier posts, i already explained why my grammar isn't the best. But I understand you may have missed it, so in all my kindness i'll explain it again.

I am originally french, I traveled a lot when i was younger, and ended up in Montana, 'Merica, because of a missed plane, a costarican stewardess, a trailer park and a rabbit. I won't go into the details, but suffice to say I consider myself a proud 'Merican, because it is the land of the free and of acceptance. China may be a great countary (although i get confuses me sometime!) but 'Merica is the best.

Then you surely wonder why I am in Beijing and not my small town of Montana, 'Merica. I already explained some time ago I'm an expat, probably much like everyone else here. Why did I accept an expat job in Beijing if I love 'Merica so much? Because I like the food, and the total availability of the women.

My written english is nowhere close to native level because 'Merica adopted me after I finished school, so I didn't get all those grammar lessons. I may do mistakes, but i do my best.

It saddens me that you criticize me... I could say mean things to you, criticize you. Maybe you use a drawing as your profile pic because you're one of those mythical Irish land whale? Do you have yellow teeth because you drink too much coffee? There are many mean things one can say, but i'll refrain because I learned in my countary the acceptance of others, because 'Merica is the land of the free.

Marcupon, you are really funny because you can't read! I know how the customs are in the US, you silly marsupian (it sounds like marcupon!) but shall you have a little moar focus, you may have noticed I asked about Chinese customs. Of course I already met them when I arrived in China, but if you read moar than just the title you would have noticed I was wondering if friends in 'Merica could send me Twinkies and S'Mores, because damn those are good and I'm craving for some. Unfortunately, I never sent myself a package from 'Merica, while I was in China, so there is no way for me to know. My Chinese girlfriend never left China, so she has no friends outside China, so she didn't know either.

I don't know if receiving Twinkies and S'Mores is illegal, if it is well no doubt the customs will come at me. By the way, thanks to answers.echinacities.com, I got really nice answers. A friend sent me a parcel, and I'm crossing my finger it will arrive safely. If i remember correctly, Fritz gave me the most useful answer, and according to him importing Twinkies and S'Mores isn't illegal. I think I'm safe here.

As for Putin's ass... I don't understand. Can you elaborate?

Mike695, I am not an alcoholic. Of course I buy a lot of wine, but it is usually my Chinese girlfriend that drinks moar of it. I'm an expat, I work for a company and have employees that call me Milord while I do my best to be a good boss, so the company can continue to go as well as it did now. Numbers show that I do a relatively good job, at least better than my predecessor, because I always encourage productivity.

Again, mike695, please show the world you know how to read, or at least have comprehension of basic english. I'm looking for a chess club with a lot of Russian people, because Russians are the best in chess, and also because I secretly want them to teach me how to dance the polka (I'm an enthousiast dancer).

As for the umbrella, I had no idea it was bad luck. From the look of all the people around me, I thought it was impolite. And yeah, a theatre is a good place to fix umbrella, because there is no point of going outside with a broken umbrella. It seems quite logic to me, maybe because i'm 'Merican.

You call me moron. I could call you illiterate and ugly, because you showed you cannot read a question, and don't even have a profile picture. But I'll refrain because back in 'Merica, I learned acceptance of others.

Thank god there are normal people on this website that do their best to give as much informative answers. I did it by taking the time to answer to you all, despite you guys and (maybe?) irish land whale being mean at me. I do my best to give good answers, but you guys are just here to mock other people. It's a shame really, but forgiveness is a virtue, so may God bless you all.

Hey how about a little tolerance?

On his skin animals thread I advised that I had reported him to PETA but the mods deleted that answer.

In response to his Make a Chinese girl cry I posted a thread, that was deleted, telling him he was bullying wenna 7 but the mods deleted it.

I went so far as to report him to the mods but they ignored me and proceeded to revenge on me for complaining by deleting 4 of my threads and 7 answers.

Now in this thread I think he has fairly well explained himself and I for one am backing off and giving the guy the benefit of the doubt.

Hey, every village has an idiot and we have found ours, but at least he is ours. Let's embrace him as our own.

Seriously, please cut the guy some slack. The mods do.

Poutine Du Fion is a gentleman and a scholar, and I fully embrace his presence on this here website.

Without him, my life would be like Chinese calligraphy i.e. just black and white. He pours so much colour into my life, I cannot thank him enough.

Poutine DuFion... you are a saint. I celebrate you wholeheartedly. Zan!

Ludovico, thank you for your kind words. I know the Olympic have been over for 3 years now, but when I said there were helpful people on answers.echinacities.com - and the vast majority are really helpful-, you are the gold medalist of kindness. May the light shine upon you until Cheesus Christ judges all for sin, comes the next rapture.

And Marsupio, what you just said was a total lack of respect for all those that work hard to bring the food to your plate!

Do you believe, for a single moment, that a drumstick from KFC that you probably love originally comes from the supermarket? Do you think a steak is a piece of meat created in a magical lab, made by sprinkling magic powder into a giant mushroom then sliced into pieces, then showered with radioactive rain and then sent to the paintjob to give it that nice and red color, before being processed to give it that wonderful texture?

Well that wasn't the original question, but I will still give my opinion, just this one time. There are millions of people around the world that skin animals. Meat comes from animal. Animals need to be killed. But when you slice their throat or shot them in the liver until it bleeds to death, their skin don't magically disappear. Not everyone is as skillful as Houdini.

Yes, people live by skinning animal. And you dare say you would never come in contact with somebody that skin animals? Are you one of those people that never went to a farm? Have you ever left the city in your life?

And you call them "crackpots"? Your ignorance and intolerance is a total shame, although you have the right to be wrong.

By learning how to skin an animal, you get to understand better how society works. There are tasks vital to mankind people do that shameful people frown upon, yet without those people doing these tasks, everybody would turn into a salad muncher. The Irish land whales would be delighted, but people who enjoy life would be heartbroken. Have you ever been heartbroken? The pain is intense when you lose something you love. Because love is vital.

When I am angry, I need to let of some steam. I need to love. So I want to learn how to skin an animal.

Maybe his "moronic questions" aren't so moronic for him. It's not because you think differently than him that you should be disrespectful. Most of us are expats living in the same foreign country. We should show some respect and solidarity, and help each other as best as we can!

Well, he joined this website right after me, and we don't get along very well with each other if u read some of the question we both answered.
I join here and find u gays ask some question, thought as it's all about China, maybe I can help, but most of his questions I don't want to answer as found it's stupid and most of the time disrespectful.
He keeps on tell everyone that he loves his gf but I couldn't see it, just feel sorry for that girl, how can she be so blind to date some one like that. Getting married as a joke? Do u really think she said that as a joke? I will just stop answer any of his question and try my best to ignore his existence.
I like this web site as to learn a lot how u feel about China, and feel happy if my answer helps. We quarrel sometimes which is ok, we don't have to agree with everything with each other, but respect is quite important.

At first I also thought his questions were moronic... but then a strange pattern began to emerge. I would read his questions and then I would read his answers to other questions and I noticed that his serious answers were very well written, often with impeccable grammar.. while his silly questions were written in "LOLspeak" (cat talk)...

I find him to be quite amusing now... and a fun sounding kind of guy. If I weren't an "Irish Land Whale" I would totally ask him out. Shy

Thank you for your kind word, SciFi. I don't always have time to formulate my answers, so my grammar may be poor. But when I have the time - usually when I'm at work - I try and do my best to correct myself from doing moar mistakes that i usually do. I always carry my English Oxford dictionary so I can double check my answers and ask the company's translator to double check for any grammar mistakes.

It's too bad you're a self-proclaimed ILW, it's a shame, really. But even if you weren't, I wouldn't be able to go out with you as I love my Chinese girlfriend. She would make a scene and we would get in an argument, and I would have to serve her even moar wine to appease her. Last thing I want is her to turn into an alcoholic!

It's because I love my Chinese girlfriend. And she loves me too, wenna. She likes to joke a lot, as I have already said, yet we're different because she tells the same joke over and over, with such a convinced look that I have to force myself not to giggle everytime she says we're getting married. If only they knew! The joke is always the same, but it makes me giggle everytime. But I would really love if she could broaden her repertoire, though. But you wouldn't understand the bond that can ties two individuals, wenna. It saddens me that you'll never want to spin-o-rama high-five me with a tip of the hat finishing move, nor that we will never go do the duck dance on a table in a bar.

It's too bad you will try and avoid me in the future, because I do my best to help you by pointing out your mistakes. And also, running away is never the solution. Maria sings a song about it in The Sound Of Music. You should listen to it! The only time when the Von Trapp fled, it was to go to Swiss. Are you telling us you're going to travel to Cambodia? you won't be safe, I heard they eat weird things down there, like monkies brains!

IMHO, it is an open forum and any question is OK. I just wish he would lay of the use of "merica". I think America is a big place, North, Central and South America. The USA propaganda machine has stolen the word America. I feel uncomfortable living in a global society hearing people say I am from America, I am American, it only fuels the stereotype that people from the US think that the USA is only country in the world. Reading the word "merican" is even worse.

I'm sorry if I hurt you when I talk about 'Merica, Phil. It's my foster countary and the one I know moar about, so my references comes from there. I could say "United States of 'Merica", but that's a bit of a hassle to type, thus the simplefied version 'Merica. I think most people use 'Merica because it's simpler, and we love when thingies are made simple!

Look guys, if you dont like Poutine Du Fion's posts, just dont read them! There are many writers here I do not particularly care for, but this is an open forum and respect Is important. Look at all the rude comments and observations made in E-chinacities regular articles section. If you want to troll, go there.
Peace!
