If you were never been married nor have kid, will you marry someone who has kid?
Like someone who's divorced or his/her wife/husband died, have a kid.
If you marry him/her, can you love his/her kid as much as your own kid with him/her? Can you treat his/her kid as well as the way you treat your own kid?
I wonder if it is suitable for someone who's never been married and be a parent become a stepfather or stepmother.
Its totally ok for me, I actually would never marry a single woman who doesn't have a kid because that experience is priceless for both of our sakes. It takes too long to teach a Chinese girl how to be a wife.
I think I would, depending on the conditions: (1) Child, boy or girl, of primary school-age or younger. Better conditions to learn my language (if child is non-anglophone) at an earlier age and to socialize a bicultural (if child is monocultural) child; (2) Future wife to have amicable relationship with ex and family members on both sides of the fence to avoid conflicts in future.
That's how I feel now that I am elderly. I have a "grandpa" yearning to spend time with children who make me laugh and feel young again. In turn, I brim with empathy and love for the innocence of youth, and want nothing more than the children of this world to have a good life. If I can contribute to the making of a healthy, happy, future citizen, then that will be my legacy when I finally meet my maker.
