I did my 1st dose of the Vero on Saturday,My wife booked me in to get it done,filled out some paper work,paid 100 yuan.Nurse was very good as I hate injections.No side effects.go for number 2 in about 3 weeks.

When I was in Xinjiang, I planned trip to Pakistan and Afghanistan with the bus ride from Kasghar to Gilgit, Pak. over the Korakoram pass on elevation of around 5k m. At that time I needed a visa for both countries, but ... I discovered, they have open free weekend pass, i.e. no border control to one Afghanistan's city on the border with Pak., so I needed only Pak's visa to visit both countries.
The problem was, Bj's Pak Embassy required stay of some 3-weeks in Beijing to issue 30-days visa to me. I gave up, because it was all together too expensive. Visa to Pak would cost me over 5000 Rmb with fees and the cheapest 3-weeks stay in Bj. Then, while I was in London a year later, I stayed in Camden. One day, I entered some small shop and employees there all look like 'Mahatma Gandis' ... So, we started to chat and one said, "Nooo, we are from Pakistan.". Woow, I got all exited and started telling them about my planned visit to Gilgit. They were giving me some guidance about the city and Pak. overall. Then suddenly one guy said: "You can be in a grave danger in Pak. ..". I go: "Why?". He replied: "Because you have blue eyes ..." and then he explained, Pakis when they see blue eyed person it resembles the devil to them and I could get easily killed. It's some religious thingy in Pak. I also think, that might be the reason, Pak's Embassy attache in Bj. was giving me a hard time for 30-days Tourist visa. I came to Bj from Xinjiang and I thought, I'll just get a visa stamp, pay fee and return to Xinjiang the same day.
Everywhere I was, everybody is telling me my eyes are blue color. When I look in the mirror, I see green. I even tested, how I see other colors comparable to other people and I see all colors the same as everybody else, except my eyes.
Anyhow, today, I can get Pak's visa online, so trip to Pak and Afghanistan is still in the cards, except I'll have to fly. I won't return to China for the bus ride, but it would be cool riding the bus on and off 5000 m elevation pass.

I got my first jab in May and the second one in June.
So far so good, still live and kicking, but with bigger balls (just kidding).
At first, I joined a local community waitlist, waited two weeks and heard back nothing, then got it from the grapevine that just go to any clinic in the rural county they'll immediate give you shots.
So I went. It worked. Queue for 2 hours, showed ID, signed a form, first jab done. They told me to wait there for 30 minutes before they let me leave, in case of any side effects.
Two days before the scheduled second jab, I got a text message reminder. I went 2 days later, this time it was more crowded and a bit less organized.
Guess more people heard about the go-to-a-rural-clinic thing.
A lot of elder people in the queue. Some young bully came out of nowhere trying to jump queue, people criticizing and taking video by phones, some guy punched him good so had to go back and queue.
Same procedure, same efficiency and the same 30-min wait as the first visit.
No bullshit, no politics, no side effect.
I'm Chinese and I say, China, well done.

Let's start with this mostly unacknowledged problem: the vaccinated have had the rug pulled right out from under their feet. They were secure in the knowledge that they did the right thing. They dutifully rolled up their sleeves, problem solved, COVID could no longer touch them. Oops!
Cue the needle screeching across the record, painfully. (Sorry, youngsters, if that's not an image that makes you cringe as it does us old-timers.)
Now the vaccinated are aware that there is no truth to the bogus "fact" that they would no longer be in any danger from COVID. The booster shot is being pushed, and pushed hard — but will it be any better than the first two ineffective shots?
The fear is palpable. No matter how high they hastily build their wall against information contrary to the narrative, that wall is crumbling. Reports from other countries, and from our own hospital nurses, are that wards are filled with sick, vaccinated people.
There are ample reports that the vaccinated are in fact themselves spreading delta and therefore responsible for the variant's mayhem. This may be because their infections are often symptom-free, due to the effects of the vaccine. Then there are the terrifying reports that the vaccinated have compromised their immune systems. Nobody wants to mention any of these possibilities, because they would interfere with the program to get everyone vaccinated. With good reason!
New Yorkers, for instance, no longer have the freedom to live if they aren't vaccinated. I can't imagine (and I'm an ex–New Yorker, so I imagine the city quite well) what that would be like. I guess grocery and restaurant delivery would be the only options. You can't live like that, not in a city that is a rabbit-warren of small apartments stacked on top of one another, next to one another. It's a recipe for despair. Not only for the unvaccinated who have never had COVID, but also for those who have had it and have natural immunity to the virus, immunity that's far better than the spike protein in the "vaccine" shots.
San Francisco is going in the same direction. Want to go to a restaurant or bar? Show your vaccination certificate. In the Bay Area, people are clearly terrified. They've started wearing their masks alone, in the car, once again.
That's a pretty strong indicator.
Those of us who decided not to get the shot are the lucky ones. If we get COVID, we'll know, and if we're smart, we will have arranged in advance to get treatment immediately. In Florida, Ron DeSantis is setting up clinics for monoclonal antibody infusions. They're desperate to shut him down. Treating people for the infection in a forthright, obvious manner means it will no longer have the power to terrify us all into getting the lucrative jabs.
We won't all end up in the hospital; we won't be dying. Between the antibody treatments, and ivermectin and its cohort of zinc, Vitamin D, etc., the death toll from the virus should be demonstrably minuscule among the otherwise healthy.
From all accounts, it will confer great antibody protection from future infections. It's not that bad in the healthy, and I'm healthy. I've arranged treatment if I get it. And I would be making my contribution to herd immunity. I also think if the kids get delta, it would be far better than subjecting them to the experimental, and likely harmful in the long term, "vaccine." Especially since the vaccine has killed 9,000+ Americans and injured countless others with myocarditis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and potentially (we just don't really know yet!) more.

A day after hundreds of protesters were arrested for breaching Covid restrictions, PM Scott Morrison has reiterated that Australia will keep battling the virus with lockdowns until the majority of citizens are fully vaccinated.

Obviously the elderly are more at risk, so are the fatties, the diabetics, those with high blood pressure or breathing issues like asthma, other health conditions.... right away that's a massive part of the population. But it's not only the old and weak now.

There's enough anecdotal evidence for me to know I don't want a dose.
I'm fit and healthy, can't remember the last time I even had a cold but this is something I don't want to play around with, I might get it and not even know about it or it could make me hella sick for weeks, could make me an invalid for who knows how long - maybe permanently, I could end up in hospital with a tube down my throat so I don't suffocate or even worse I could end up suffocating in an ambulance unable to get a hospital bed because of all the anti vaxxers crashing the hospital system.
