Hello you all,
I would like to start an English Corner somewhere near Baiyun Airport, or at least nearby.
I was wondering if people would be up for it.
I think it would be a good way to network and generally meet new people.
I noticed that most of the English corners that I found online were rather downtown, or what I assume to be downtown, and it is really far from me, so I can't participate.
Any Chinese, or even foreigners, interested in an English Corner in GZ Baiyun? If yes, I will arrange a meeting point and time for everyone to exchange on several topics and progress together in English.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Usually English corners are forced on by someone's employer as part of the job. Not many people are going to volunteer to be surrounded by a mob and asked questions without some form of compensation. Unless it's at a whore house and they are giving away sexual favors to speak with an English person. Other than that you are going to be hard-pressed to find people to do for free in their free time.
But hey...kudos to you for doing it.
Soon, you'll might be interested in quitting of English teaching entirely in Chino-scumbagerry ...

This usually always follows reciprocal response ... laowai working time in China is over ...
It's tough.

English Corners are about talking, not 'showing'
they would take place where 'showing' something on a phone is not possible.
