Q: Anyone know how to change student visa to work visa?
Hello, does anyone have some ideas on how to change a student visa to work visa? Whether its through agencies (trusted agencies obviously) or any otther means?

you can only get a work visa from your employer.
Your work visa will be tied to your employer.
You can not get a 'work visa' and then look for a job.
Find a job that has a licence to employ a foreigner and they will tell you what you have to do then.

China visa using Forever Bright in Hong Kong - Information
Today we got our one month tourist visas through the Forever Bright agency in Hong Kong. I spent a lot of time searching the internet for information about this, but found it difficult to find information that was current. So I thought I would put a post on here to assist people in the future.
Here is what we did...
We arrived at the Forever Bright office in New Mandarin Plaza on Science Museum Road at around 9am. (They open at 8.30am but we took a wrong turn on the way there).
We queued for 10 minutes.
I am travelling with my husband and we are both Australians, so we were able to apply for a Group Visa. This cost us $500 HKD each - to be paid in cash when we picked up our visas. We both had to sign a form saying that we would be entering and exiting China together.
We handed over our passports and one passport photo each. We were then given a business card with a time to return - 5pm on the same day. When we arrived at 5pm our visas were ready at the front desk with our passports and we paid our money. Simple as that. Our visas started from the day they were issued and lasted 30 days, which suited us perfectly.
I had been stressing about how long it would take as we wanted to head to China the following day and didn't allow ourselves enough time, however it was super simple. We didn't need to fill out any other paperwork and all up took less than 15 minutes. I also printed out all of our hotel bookings, train bookings and flight leaving China, however I didn't require any of that. I would definitely use Forever Bright again and highly recommend them to anyone else.
