No, you can't!

At least not legally with Z visa 'cause employer must secure foreign employee's health insurance, which is apparently impossible to get for the person older than 60-years.

I am thinking, health insurance for foreigner above 60-years old might be very expensive ....

Most countries around the world are required to provide similar health insurance for foreign employees.

You could try to get work with other visa (F) and without required insurance, what will not make you legal worker in China.

What do you mean by 'foreigner'? Foreign land is a big place, some parts are more foreign than others.

Stiggs:

Lol, a downvote?

I'll write it in very simple terms then...

To be properly legal, China requires foreign teachers to be native speakers, from one of about 6 countries. All other foreigners need not apply.

So, what foreign country are you from? It matters.

"Foreigner I was born,, foreign I am,,, foreign I will die." However, doesn't really matter cuz a Black Hole has accepted me into it's Hole,,,,  kinda like what went down on a Bourbon Street alley a few light-years ago......
