Q: Do you get injured more often in China?

I feel like I've gotten injured more in China in the past 2 months than ever did in America. My first injury was a a bruised and swollen ulna from breaking a fall. Then a sore lower back from another fall. A cut on my foot from moving furniture.a cut on my arm from a wall with a some metal sticking out if it. Aching knees for a week. Several stubbed toes. A bruise on my left leg from hitting the side of my ebike when I successfully use it as catapult 5 days ago to stop my sideways hydroplanning ebike when I slammed on my breaks on a wet street as these two chinese women came out of nowhere, on the wrong side of the street I must add, and and almost crashed into me. And now my left ankle is in so much pain I can barely walk. I thinking it's inflammation in the joints from yesterday's activities of jumping rope and teaching hip hop to my students and playing jianzi om the park for 2 hours with the locals. Is it China or am I just getting old really fast all of a sudden?!

If you look back at the list you just wrote, you'll know why you get injured so often. Slow down man! What are you doing? You want to conquer the world or what?

I have banged my head into more stuff in the time in China than in all my past. Near to where I live there is a "Local Police" sign that got me good, and I smacked my head into some concrete ceiling while amused by a sign saying something like "Salute the tax payer"

I cook more in China than I used to, and kitchen knives suck more so I have had a series of quite bad cuts. Never cut chili after cutting your fingers.

Take care man. Lou is right, slow down. "Ride your horse and smell the flowers" (is an old Chinese saying)

With every breathe that you take in the coal-dust winter smog days.

Yes because I'm a tall, clumsy oaf. A lot of things either aren't in my field of vision (small children, rocks, sidewalk ledges, etc), or I don't pay enough attention to my surroundings. I've gotten injured repeatedly. Here's a picture my wife took of me:

There's also the vicious beating I got, but that was different.
