Q: Food poisoning in China.

In the very short time since I've been here, in China, I've experienced more instances of food poisoning than in all of my adult life back home in North America. Any one else?

No, 'cause I'm familiar with the cooking ... and I never ate outside while in China.

Exceptions being only teachers parties, I was invited to ...

Having also in my mind all the rats and what not sold as an edible BBQ ...

Maybe you are not familiar with the food and that`s the case? Happened to me only once during my first two weeks in the country. After that, I pick the places to eat carefully and all is great.

nothing to do with lack of familiarity, more to do with poor and unhygenic food prepration, particularly of street food,

many smaller restaurants think it is 'clever' to re-heat food prepared at lunch time later on in the evening.

simple tip NEVER eat rice in the evening during hot weather.
chances are it was cooked at lunchtime.
