this is why I automatically have my salary directly deposited to my bank in my home country. No fuss, no worries.
There are limits on how much a foreigner can send out or bring into China. The easiest way is to give your money to a local that you trust. They do not have limits on how much they can transfer out.
Otherwise, you can save all of your paycheck stubs and bring them to the Beaurea of Currency and they will give you a waiver to export that much money.
dont try to sneak it in your suitcase! they x-ray all checked luggage. go with a local you trust to the bank and do a wire transfer. make sure you use cash that you are holding, make sure you fill out the form. like i said previously in other posts basically do not be too trusting. never let your money out of your sight
Thanks for your replys.........pay stubs ..........yea right maybe I wish I know several people I can trust thanks again
Their is NO limit to wire money (USD) out of China aslong as you can prove that you have earned it legal and have paid taxes on it. Their is a limit of anual amount ($50k) which you can CHANGE in rmb.
All who say different have NEVER wired money out/in of China.
NO bussiness would ever be done in/out China if above wankers were right!

Do you hear a popping sound every time you pull your head out of your ass? Or do you think it is okay to just sound off like you do? And besides, just for the record, the rules on companies exporting cash is vastly different from individuals. But, of course, I am sure you already know that along with everything else.

You also never have wired money outside or in. So STFU if you have nothing better to say. And NO their is not any difference about amount between a company or individual if it comes to wire money. Jzzzzz............how did you guys survive here? Nothing to do on the pig farm?
Xpat.John:
I have wired money out of this country multiple times. Both from individual accounts & company accounts. If you notice in my original comment, I told the OP that he needed pay stubs (I.E. verification of income) and the department he needed to go to in order to get the needed approval. But since your eyes and brain are obviously to small for you to comprehend that, I am repeating it here. It is crude little people like you who give expats a bad name.
bennyfulltrack:
expats? EXPATS? You surely mean dead brain people, rats who need to run around for surviving. They simply just deserve it.
There are a few tricks you must know to get money out of China. First, there is a limitation of 6,000 Rmb cash you can take with you on the plane. Or its equivalent. Then, foreigners are limited to exchange Rmb for dollars at the tune of $ 500 US dollars per day. So, if you are taking a large amount, you will need a few days to take dollars.
I would suggest if you are not planning on being here on a permanent basis, to get an account at your home country, and do make a few wire transfers of reasonable amounts not needed here to your account abroad just to become familiar with the procedure. It will cost you a few yuans, but worth it from the lessons learned.
And as your stay winds down, and departure day gets near, do not wait for the last week to clear the account, do whatever you decide a few days prior just in case.
Like selling household items or bike, I know some that had to end up giving it away or just abandond them because could not sell them in time.
