Coming to the last couple weeks of my tourist visa converted from my prior work permit and trying to find anything reliable. I've accepted I'll probably have to exit every 30 days on a 6 month L but I'm getting a bit worried with these horror stories of 10-15 day tourist visas granted for Americans. Cheers.
***I failed to mention in my original post that I was trying to send for the visa while remaining in China, I've heard rumors somewhere or other of that being a decent route to go. A couple of the suggested services sent me a reply back saying I need to be stateside. All the same, much thanks for your replies and time.

I used a company called "passportsandvisas.com". Their service was fast, price was reasonable and I had everything done in one week. They were able to get me a 1 year visa with a 60 day stay time.
I and a couple friends of mine have used mychinavisa.com with no problems before. They usually give us 1 year multi-entry visas with either 60 or 90 day stays.
For years I have used OASISVISACHINA.COM, and always have had excellent results with them. My current visa is for 2 years, multiple entry, 120 days. I was told that on my next try I can get 180 days stay.

I have not heard of any other agency getting 2 years L visas, just bthem so far, and I got one using them. But remember, you have tro work your way up with multiple visqa requests and good behaivor here.

Hey thanks a lot for the response. I forgot to mention in my question that I was trying to do the whole process without leaving China, I got a email back from them saying I need to be stateside to use their service, but if I do have to take a trip back I'll probably go that route. Thanks again.

About 18 months ago they renewed my L visa wihout me leaving China. I sent them all forms and documents via FedEx, and got them back about 12 days later with the new visa, with me in China all the time. Maybe because I have been a customer for years now, maybe they did not realize I was in China, who knows?
