Q: Risk of Lockdown Spreading to Your City?

Just noticed, in my area of city, some stores are quietly dismantling shelves and sections of stores; some shops/places of business are already shut down; entrance requirements at various places have become more rigorous.

Anyone else worried?

As a teacher living on a Suzhou high school campus, I am in lockdown now. All seniors who are studying for GaoKao, admin, senior's teachers, cleaning staff, and cooks are all required to stay on campus until next Wednesday. Although I do not teach the seniors, I do live on the campus. So, I am stuck here. No food or mail deliveries allowed either. Thankfully, the company I work for has arranged to have someone go shopping for the teachers of our department. It is an inconvenience only. Hopefully, the government will not extend the lockdown, but I think they will extend.

I would strongly suggest anyone not in lockdown to stock up on food, water etc if you haven't already, just in case.

Omicrom spreads fast so it seems likely more cities will get locked down. I'm sure everyone has been watching the news, food delivery services are likely to be pushed to their limit and availability of your preferred foods might not be a given.

A:It's up to the employer if they want to hire you that's fine most cities today require you to take a health check every year when renewing the working visa if you pass the health check and you get your visa renewed each year I know teachers that are in their 70s and they're still doing great -- ironman510
