Q: student visa cancellation

I am a language student and I ran into some problems with the admin of the university. They are threatening me with a visa cancellation. That's caz of me getting in argument with the kids here . Well I don't think that will be of any importance because the guy I don't like is the admins fav ....so will they be able to cancel my visa ? If so what the best way to handle it ?

In your previous posts you were doing an inflatable toy business. Now you are a student. Have you been doing business on a student visa? Caz, if you have, the school has every right to cancel your visa.

You are not a victim if you tried to play the system and were caught. That makes you a felon.

? I was reading last week about how the UK is cracking down on bogus student visas. They are closing schools that "don't exist" but grant visas so people can work illegally. I.saw this question, saw the ops other posts, and wondered why he switched from being a business man to a student.

Wow people's assumptions, no I dint start work of any sort . I am a on a student visa and have not done anything illegal of any sorts . The most out of the law thing I have done is to smoke of posts in a public place .

ScotsAlan:

I apologize for making an incorrect assumption. But I am only one poster. So hopefully you will get some decent answers from people who have been students here :-) In the meantime, if you use the search button above, you will probably find similar questions that are already populated with answers.. They might be a bit old, but they will still be valid answers.

Hotwater:

ScotsAlans assumption came from your first ever question on ECC.

What sort of problem with the university Admin?

What did they allege you did?

If there was an argument, did it get physical?

If so, who threw the first punch?

You need to give more details than 'getting in argument with the kids here'

That could mean anything.

If you want proper helpful suggestions, you need to be a bit more forthcoming, and to be honest your first posted question about selling inflatable toys puts you in a very different category from that of a student.

To actually answer the question - yes, they can get your student visa cancelled. Quite easily!

There are SO many regulations etc that you have to go through and abide by, if they wanted to get rid of you, it would be relatively easy. Especially since you are unlikely to have any say at all in the matter.

What can you do about it? Beg. Suck up to the person you got into the fight with, and become BFFs...

Answer of the DayMORE >>
A: No, it's not allowed to work under RP at 2nd job! I'd say, Z visa
A:No, it's not allowed to work under RP at 2nd job! I'd say, Z visa/RP sponsor can have an objections to your part-time job. I did the same at my English teaching in China and elsewhere, butT ... I casually mentioned at my prime job, some kindergarten or another school asked me to work with them part-time. Then, my Q: "Is that permitted?" ...  Answer from RP sponsor was always "Yes, but you can't be late or miss the classes at our school ..." with my reply: "No, our work schedule has a priority, and I'll arrange classes at kindergarten only in my free time." When I cleared that, I was undertaking any extra teaching hours at other schools and private students in my free time.Sometimes, teachers at my prime job asked me if I'm willing to have some extra classes elsewhere.I accepted after the talk with School's principal. I suggest, you test the felling at your Z/RP sponsor and once you see they don't object, you can work at 2nd job. Keeping your 2nd job as a secret from your employer won't work, 'cause you're laowai and Chinese know exactly what you do in your free time. However, despite your employer's agreement for extra work, you are still in violation of Chinese Labour law, and even if your sponsor agrees to your extra work, you can still get in trouble, because it's clearly written (somewhere ... ) that under Z/WP, one can work only at the Z-sponsor and nowhere else. Penalties ... I'd say, there won't be any warnings and you'll be required to exit China in short Exit time.It never happened to me, so I can't really advice how is when manure hits the fan ...  -- icnif77
