Q: What's the difference between the " Foreigners work permit " and " working permit "

What's the difference between the " Foreigners work  permit " and " working permit "   Because, my friend is preparing for z visa . She applied it and they have issued her "working permit " on March 5th. She was about to apply for the invitation but got informed it's no longer needed. 1).  So can see still use the working permit to go home and apply the Z?  Or she need to apply for the" Foreigners work permit ? Aside that,  she is non  native but she's great and had worked in that school for three yrs..
2).  What are the needed documents for Z visa  starting from April?

There's no difference, same thing, different names!

There is no longer a need for an invitation letter from about 2 weeks ago. As long as the employer has been issued with the work permit license then your friend can apply fo rthe Z-visa.

For non-native English speakers it is still possible in SOME areas to get legally employed but the information on where is hard to find.

Thanks for your information.  My friend will be working  in a town in Zhejiang province. Not really a big city

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change student visa to labourer one is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
