Q: is 27 years in prison a joke?
he did 27 years in Prison of his life due to apartheid system, so that his his progeny could enjoy 1. food clothing and shelter, Freedom , justice and equality, .....and finally: Love Peace and equality.

You ask the question as if someone of importance made of joke of it. Care to elaborate why your sentence is more like a statement rather than a question ?

Yes i confess im an emotional person[a step closer to knowing iron12] and quite frankly 'we' are still angry, thats that so people should not pick old wounds, im sick and tired of these racist rants on ECC,
hence i addressed that issue because issues should not be ignored but be addressed.
here in expat community there is an issue and im addressing.

As for the racism...hey, its something that some/many humans do. Its a part of life. Im not saying I agree with it, but only that it exists, and wont be going away any time soon. Cheers.

He did 27 years in prison because he was a terrorist who killed people. He could have been released long before 27 years if he had sworn not to use violence, but he didn't. The corrupt, violent spiral your country is in is his legacy.

To set the record straight, Mandela was in prison for high treason, because he planted bombs and later orchestrated the planting of bombs from his prison cell. Maybe you should do a bit of research before you just fire away. Let me tell you another thing - if you have to pick up the limbs of dead people, blasted to bloody pieces by terrorist bombs, and have friends who were maimed by these bombs, planted by your freedom fighters,you tend to look at things differently. As for Mandela, like many South Africans I gave him a chance and I hoped for the best for my country, but sadly this hope has been betrayed by him and his followers. I respect him for what he tried to do, but he never spoke out at the corruption and violence that came in waves, while he was still alive, now the country is a shadow of what it once was and the potential to become a great place is in the gutters. I have my views, and I can justify every single one of them with facts and experience, and you can call me what you want, but I will not waver from them.
