Does it matter to Chinese? With Western guy or girl. Anybody halp?

The man's age can be equal to her age or it can be greater by as much as fifteen years before eyebrows go up. It is uncommon (so my wife tells me) for a man to be significantly younger than his wife...but it happens: guy in the estate here is eighteen years younger than his mothxxxx wife.
Age does NOT matter in China. An 83 year old professor recently married his 32 year old former student.
Age does not matter, money and social standing do matter.
I've heard some Chinese ladies tell me that they like older men. First they say older men are more mature. Second they have better jobs and more money to support them and their family.
Of course that does not speak for all Chinese women, but there are some that prefer men that are older than them.
I think at least 25 years is good , at least for the guy,, somebody has to be happy
Alva not only will they accept it they'll encourage it (money baby, China, money=God)
if the girl has little prospects for a good marriage with a chinese man eg. she is not pretty, not educated, not wealthy or any other undesirable traits the age difference means little to nothing. the parents may not be happy you are a foreigner but they also probably think they are lucky since you ahve money and their daughter wasn't going to get a good chinese husband anyway.
