Q: Any advice to me?

I have been living and working in the city all the time.I feel excitied to come back to my village where my home is for a short spring holiday.I am bored with the city now and I find my balance back to my village.Everything in my village makes me excited:Blue sky, blue water in the reservior, hills, trees, birds are singing, slow life style.,etc.
But my friend in the village keeps trying to make me go to the city with her to keep her company for doing the shopping.
I have no interest to go to the city nor keeping her company for doing her shopping.I assue you can understand how boring city is for someone who lives in the city everyday.
But I havn't met my friend for a long time as I live in Shanghai.Any advice weather I should keep her company?

Hello....everything in life isn't about you.

I know this may be difficult for you to understand but sometimes people do things for other people without wanting anything in return. Yeah, crazy talk, right?

Here is the situation: Your bumpkin friend lives in the village and believes you are worldly simply because you live in the big smoke. (everyone on this site knows that isn't true)

Throw her a bone and take her to the city and stop being a twonk.

Yes! Indeed, go. But, dress up as a Blue Monster. You will experience the city differently as people react in curious ways to your presence. Have lunch, shop, cavort in the park; take in the sites, and have a grand time. Your friend will be thrilled that you selected such an eye-catching costume, and be truly appreciative of the garnered attention. You, on the other hand, will be excited that the city, which once appeared boring and lifeless, will now be filled with interest and intrigue. It really is a "win win" situation! Laughing out loud

Oh, and for a really, really good time, bring a baby wallaby along, just for kicks! Bon voyage!

Sure.

Take her to the city so she can see how much it sucks.

My girlfriend used to love going shopping in Hebei. Do you know how I stopped her from wasting so much money?

I took her to Hong Kong. Now she thinks the local malls suck.

It was the best investment I ever made.

Move back to your village and I guarantee that the paralyzed cerebrums and small town mentality will begin to annoy you within a few months too.

Just make the best with the shitty hands you get dealt with in life indecision

maggiegirly:

well done.I used to go to HK for shopping a couple of times each year when I was in China,I still go to local shops but I only go shopping when needed as I hate window shopping and wasting money. I think I will do lots of shopping when I come back to China ,have not got nice clothes for almost two years its damn long and crazy lol can not wait:-)

I hate window shopping and wasting time too.And I am not interested in keeping anyone for. doing shopping. When I want to shop,I just go alone and buy it.I feel not nice to keep friends waitting for me while I am shopping. Sometimes I am wondering why most Chinese girls want to have someone to keep company to do shopping. Is it a typival. Chinese girl thing or most girls' thing? I find it examely boring.

Just as there are lots of simple minded men who love motor oil and replacing pistons, there are also lots of simple women who love accumulating tat.

It's universal.

Back home, I had a really daft woman who loved buying worthless tat all of the time.

I like engines and machinery, but I don't waste my life in the garage the way so many guys do.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
