Q: Any other sites to buy Airline tickets online with Union Pay?

I hate Ctrips, sucks.

Any other site we can use our China Union pay cards online to plane tickets? IF I pay at an agency it cost 2x's as much. Trying to visit the states during the holiday.

Thank you

They recently bought Ctrip, but the 2 sites still operate separately. It's cheaper than Ctrip and with more options, the only draw back is there's no English site. All the Chinese people I know use it.

Also try elong.com and I think agoda.com accept unionpay too.

Thank you, Elong was perfect and the price list was updated unlike Ctrips.

I don't know any other website, but I instead always look for the Chinese with Mc/Visa card, and I ask for the booking from Western websites with immediate cash Rmb refund.

In present city, Chinese dental assistant make all my online purchases, and in other cities, I was asking CMB's managers  to make my online purchases.

Just a 2016 year update, now that foreigners can use Alipay on our cell phones I was able to pay for my plane ticket on Elong with a simple scan of my iPhone & Alipay. Soooooo easy.

icnif77:

Can you use Alipay on Western websites, too?

A:I had a similar experience in HK. If I recall correctly, before or at the Z visa application, I had to submit ME from the ordinary HK clinic, where I explained why I need ME and I asked them to examine only necessary things (I don't remember the cost ...), and then ... I got Z stamp and when back in China, I had to complete another RP ME, which was on the employer, i.e. included in the Contract ...We've never discussed refund of payment for HK ME with my employer. Year 2013 ...I'd say, that is a regular thingy embassies around the world require, before issuing visas for LT stay in the country. "Vladimir Vladimiro-Witch ras-Putin" (LOL@your pronunciation ..) demands the same thingy before granting LT stay in Ruski.  ... Haa, 2013 was the Snowden's year. I was in Kowloon at the time of his landing .. with all these files ... I'm-Still-in-LMAO-State ... Cost for the ME in HK was around HK$ 2000/200 EUR, and ME was kind of swift, quicker and way shorter than on the mainland ... -- icnif77
