Q: Anyone know of a friendly English choir and/or theater troup to join in Beijing?

Weather's back to winter mode and this year, i'm optimistic i'll be able to juggle between work, social commitments and a cultural activity. I've been in China quite some time but never thought about joining an English choir and/or a theater troup.
Does anyone know of any? I'm not looking for anything too serious, just friendly people trying to do something new...

Please let me know,
Béné

You could try Beijing Improv: http://www.beijingimprov.org/
Or Beijing Playhouse: beijingplayhouse.com

A: Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever
A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
