Q: Anyone know of a nice, non-tourist teahouse in Beijing?
Yesterday I got the sudden urge to find a tranquil teahouse and just wile away the afternoon. However, I quickly discovered that I don't actually know of any non-tourist-trap teahouse in Beijing. Anyone have any tips or insights into where to go?

Some of the major parks in Beijing have no-frills tea houses where residents sit, chatter, play card games and drink tea. Or you could try the Confucius Teahouse right opposite the Confucius Temple of Guozidian Hutong. It attracts some tourists but it's far less touristy than the likes of Laoshe Teahouses. http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/listings/restaurants/teahouses/has...
