Q: Best waxing/beauty salon in Beijing?

Not looking for something outrageously pricey...places I've gone to so far aren't great. Any girls have some good places?

Zig Zag on Wudaoying Hutong does waxing. A brazilian wax costs 398 RMB and the place has a fairly good reputation: http://zigzagbeijing.weebly.com/

Lovely Nails does a standard wax for about 120 rmb or 260 for a Brazilian (1F Tongli Studios, 6417 5812).

Waxing Society has an excellent reputation. A full facial wax will set you back 260 rmb for women (518 Haiyuncang International Plaza, 1 Haiyuncang Hutong, 5123 9397).

Daisy's Beauty Shop comes highly recommended by Time Out. Apparantly the best place for a Brazilian (260 rmb) - Room 301, Bldg 3, Sunshine 100 International Aprtmnts, 2 Guanghua Lu, 5100 0556).

Enjoy!!! Smile

I've tried waxing salon many times in Beijing,Beijing Carezza Spa is one of the best! safe, clean, quiet environment...(Honest rates with no hidden surcharges) The prices for the waxing was very reasonable and well worth my coin. All the private treatment rooms . Strongly recommended for a clean, quality experience. you will be pleased with the results of this heavenly treatment.

It has become a ritual to visit Beijing Carezza every time I'm in Peking. So far, it's my favorite waxing salon. The bikini wax prices are very reasonable and because they provide freshening wipes and disposables more hygienic than all the other waxing salon in beijing.

Highly recommend the therapist Randy .he over waxing 9 years experience. I have never had any bad experience there. liberal mind is necessary Smile

"It rubs the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again." Aloe vera or other hydrating lotions as opposed to oil-based lotions.

My cat (pic), she could read my mind. She loved raw or cocked hot dog sausage, the most. I would 'THINK' in the morning 'it would be good to eat some hot dog' in the next few days. Like having 'dog munchies'.

I was just thinking about it. No 'buying it', 'bring it home', 'fridge it', 'cooking' or 'eating', yet. Not even talking about it. She would trace me everywhere I moved in the apartment. When I left (to buy hot-dog), she holded guard at the entrance door till my return.

On the regular (non-hot-dog-thinking) days, she would nap whole day. Almost like I am not there.

She knew somehow, I'll eat hot-dog.

A:Nobody can tell you that! You could look at no-response-time in two ways: 1. 'Nobody is interested in your CV and hiring you ...'; or 2. 'Never, ever stop sending your CV to the daily posted job openings and simply disregard no-replies thingy!' It's wrong, to expect replies from the Chinese advertisers of a new job openings, 'cause Chinese don't behave same as western recruiters by replying: "Thank you for your job application. Unfortunately, you weren't selected at this time. We'll keep your CV on record and if new opportunity arises..." or something in those lines. So, the only remaining choice is no. 2. Looking for the new (non-native E.T.) position in my time in China was like a daily part-time job.  Good luck! -- icnif77
