Q: Best way to send money to america
Hello,
i am am looking for an easy way to send money to america, there is a bank of China in New York, not sure if it is worthwhile to open an account.

Do you have a Chinese bank account?
Are you working legally and paying Chinese tax (& can prove it?)
Then just go to your Chinese bank (with a Chinese speaker) plus contract, work permit, payslips, tax receipts and a few hours of patience.....buy US$ and transfer back to a US bank account as long as you have the full bank details (Swiftcode, address, etc).
It isn't that difficult once you've done it the first time.
(Note the above is what I think you need. I can't be arsed with all the paperwork so when I want to send money back to the UK I give it to my Chinese wife, she buys £sterling online and transfers it to my UK account online - and it's there the next day!)
