I've done the reverse with no issues (sending those kinds of products from the US to China).  I don't think it would be an issue, especially for the small package size you are indicating.

Anything in China is probably available or better in the USA. Quality control and testing aren't very good in China.

I don't know why you would, make up abroad is cheaper and far better than China. When we were in China, whenever people visited my wife always wanted them to bring proper makeup.

You could top buy some top of the line all natural Chinese made beauty products.  These are available in the better department stores in Beijing but they are expensive, expensive indeed.

Look here for example -- this is a top of the line TCM product and it runs about RMB 800.

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
