Q: Chess club in Beijing?

I'm very eager to play some chess, and was looking to sharpen my skills, yet i do not know of any Chess club frequented by Russians. I believe it is very important because Russians are knows to be the best at chess. Most club i found were frequented by Chinese...

And to be honest, I would hope they'd invite me for a vodka after that, maybe i'll be able to learn the polka!

You may want to try xiangqui (Chinese Chess).
It may not be with a Russian and there exquisite vodka but at least you'll find a partner with potent Chinese alchool and discover new aspects of Chinese culture.

but if your dead set on chess I would post a ad in paper or internet. I am sure you can find a partner!
