Q: Is China the only country with a shared bathroom for both males and females in a public restaurant?

First time I've ever seen it. Was wondering why there was no sign just said bathroom....all squat toilets...

No, why does it have the world's most disgustingly dirty bathrooms?

No, why - do you ask?

Most bathrooms in China seem to be gender-separated, but there are a lot of bathrooms in the U.S. (which you'd know if you were actually American) which are dual-gender bathrooms. But they can only be used one at a time. .. generally.

Such a stupid question Silva. Why don't know you use your time in a more constructive way? Why not learn a new hobby, travel, obtain new knowledge by reading more books...the list of suggestions goes on and on. I'm really afraid that you're wasting your precious life on this forum when no-one actually takes any of your questions serious. Oh but then again maybe your being paid to be a troll?

I think that Sparkey is Chinese and wants to make foreigners look stupid by portraying one. He never posts anything personal. In all this time how much insight of him do you have?

Is that to me Ted? If so this thread could end up getting harmonised. Are you sure you're ready for this?

Here is my take on the enigma that is Silva99. I have attempted to structure it like a school report.

Silva99 is at a stage where she needs to take serious look in the mirror and decide what she wants to do with her life. Silva99 appears to try hard and desperately wants to fit in with her ‘peers’, often mimicking the behaviour of those around her. However, many have come to realise that this is just a guise, a poor attempt to deceive people around her that she is a native speaker in her never ending pursuit of wumaos.

Her efforts to impersonate native speakers are done so in a pitiful and transparent manner which is easily identifiable to even the most untrained wumao spotters and after doing this for so long she has simply lost her sense of belonging.

Silva no longer knows if she is Chinese or a “native speaker of English”; her very existence can be simply characterised as a soulless and relentless drive to add to her  wumao pile. She has come to suffer from what most experts have now termed, ‘wumaoholism’.

It has become a drug of choice, an infatuation. It has even been brought to my attention that her apartment in Beijing has over 200 shoeboxes full of wumaos. In fact, word on the street is that now she has attained emperor status, she has had a throne constructed entirely from wumaos. These are dark days. I pray for us all.

You should be happy, now you don't have to decide which bathroom to use.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
