Q: China, USA, Saudi Arabia... which has the sweetest deal?
All 3 have issues with human rights, wrongful imprisonments, racism and other similar issues. But, they all seem to get away with it, in the name of money... "you can't do that to us, we'll just cut you off"...
Which one has the sweetest deal (ie, greatest power to have internal problems magically ignored by the rest of the world)
(please add an other countries I should have included...)
All three countries don't really care what others think for different reasons.
Saudi Arabia, because they know the rest of the world needs their oil and their society is ruled under Sharia law. China, because they deem it an "internal issue," and the government doesn't consider any other opinion valid, and the United States because most of the time, they are self-correcting, in that they have a certain portion of the pubic sector who raises the issue when abuses occur.
Saudi Arabia, totally. They're basically an absolutist monarchy, and ultra-fundamentalist Muslims who vocally oppose both Sunni and Shias (ballsy!), and they spread anti-American anti-European anti-infidel anti-most Muslim sect propaganda-videos/foot-note heavy Qurans throughout the Muslim world. In a world where absolutist monarchy was practically burried after WWI and and ultra-fundie Islam in its ultra-fundiest form is everyone's favourite target, they still get their stick licked by all of the people they constantly slander. The infidels because the oil, and mainstream Muslims for pilgrimage rights.
China has made certain quiet compromises in to maintain world trade, and the US is always juggling compromises, but Saudi Arabia is all like "Go Flick yourself in the Bottom, everyone else on earth." And people still bow to their wacky monarch and his wacky Frank Zappa beard like it was the middle ages.
The US. The amount of issue the US has compared to the other two is miniscule and, on top of that, they can vote, own guns, travel freely and have property rights.

comparing usa to the others is just a joke. people like this give liberals a bad name. fox news will interview people like this to make the angry 110 year olds who watch it, even angrier. then they will go to trump rallies start giving cnn abuse on live tv, because the rich master tells the use ful idiots that this behaviour is ok and not uncivilized. then they vote alex jones in 2024 because they were never really appreciative of history, american norms, just as long as that person feed the incredible anger they feel.
started with palin, then trump, then alex jones, then giant hate filled hairy ball sac, made from adolf hitler's dna. the ball sac will just say "blame immigrants for everything wrong with your life, you are better than them". those who somehow in 2024, still don't have a degree will find that this message resonates.

An educated society is not always a good society. Russia's literaracy rate in the 1980's of 90 percent did not help much. Canada's 40 percent college educated population, 51 percent is passing, another story another time, same answer, no difference, education is a scam, but people who have it really believe they are better for it than the underclass who vote against them, perhaps they will learn to take care of the underclass, even the democrats in America have forgotten the poor in favor of immigrants and victims. If they don't learn the lesson, well Trump 2.0 whoever that is in 2024 will be even worse than what we have now. The pragmatic New Yorker is putty compared to his VP Pence.
don't forget about the oversized concentration camps (the white guys call them reservations) in the provinces. Actually the camps are all over North America.

I don't know about SA, but there was an experiment done on both China, and the US. Two guys are asking people on the street for help in both countries. This video shows how people in the two countries react.

The video concluded that westerners were largely unwilling to help the Chinese man, but the Chinese were much more willing to help the westerner. The westerners in the video were just as hateful as the westerners on this site. What a surprise. I guess internet does reflect reality in a way

I can't get the video to play right now since I'm in England, but I have had Chinese people tourist ask me for directions before they ask their own people in Shenzhen because to avoid face, Chinese people will actually give bad directions rather than say they don't know. The Chinese have it better now since since smartphones give the directions if they are not too lazy to stop the computer game and look up the directions for a stranger.
I would be curious which western city did not help the chinese tourists, I can tell you most blue state urban areas would not help you at all with the exception of Minneapolis and Madison, for some reason leftist in these two cities actually use logic before emotions and sterotypes, its a strange phenomona.
