Q: China welcomes Australian Navy?

Two Aussie war ships have arrived in Guangdong today to take part in live fire exercises with the Chinese military
All whilst the USA navy sails past like a kid that was not invited to a birthday party
What a funny world we live in .

I saw it.  News.com.au

My Grandfather was a member of the Arunta Tribe.  Or, at least, that's what he used to tell us long ago.

China Welcomes Australian Navy - Image Results

'Joint military exercise' in May 2012.

It might be, they were 'burning joints together'. USA is way ahead of both! On 'decriminalisation' issue.

Funny world alright, Phil.

But I reckon it's more like 'Aussies welcome opportunity to couple up with Chinese Navy'.

So, we're ditching ANZUS, and going.. AC?? Tongue

Right now, I can't think of a single situation in which the Chinese and Australian navies would ever have reason to co-operate as military allies...!

Pirate activity of the Somalian coast, the Malacca straights Ice breakers in Antarctica and southern ocean Humanitarian hospital ships as backup when we go the Philippines And most likely other jobs we have forgotten about
