Q: Chinese Visa Application

Hello,

Recently in England I applied through an agency for a ninety day Chinese visa with two entries.

Unfortunately when my passport was returned it only had a thirty day visa with two entries.

Does anyone have any idea why?

Regards

If it was your first visa application for China then this is perfectly normal.  Very rarely will they give more than a thirty day visa.  You're actually quite lucky that they didn't make it single entry.  You'll find that any subsequent visa entries will be much easier and you shouldn't have any problems with a longer visa providing you stick to the terms of this one.

Visa grants are entirely Embassy's discretion. No explanation is required. In other words, 'take it..., and leave it!'.

However, you could ask them in the Embassy. I guess, new appointment is required for visa details.
