Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: To the Christians, what in China is most non-Christian?
Lack of charity, people getting baptized in synthetic clothing, family structure?
Lack of Judeo-Christian values, natch.
Scandinavian:
Some reflection on how Judeo-Christian values differ from the Confucius-Taoist values
Sinobear:
Confucian values: lie to protect your family at all costs, everything to and for your family, obey your elders regardless...surprising that Kong Zi was a student of Lao Zi yet he bastardized the principles of the Dao.
Well I'm not Christian, but I would have to say everything about Chinese society and values..
They don't believe in Jewish zombies with a space Dad ?
Mateusz:
Well, neither do Christains... or were you talking about the branch of Chritianity known as the Strawmen?
I would like to say a lot about this topic, but i,m sure it is going to be banned. Sure chinese are lack of values, ethic, this is the worst of China
Love thy neighbour.
Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.
Stop being so accepting of adultery.
Free the children.
Scandinavian:
Free the children. You mean stop being controlling parents even when your Child is 45 ?
Christianity has bathed the West in rivers of internecine religious battles for centuries.
I for one am a recovering Christian, just like there are recovering alcoholics.
I don't think that China needs a dose of this stuff. They had it in the last century and if you go and read what the so-called enlightened missionaries inflicted upon this country, you might be horrifed.
Just like in Ireland this century the Catholic church ran the same kind of scams and forced child labor camps here pre-1949.
Sorry gents, it's an ugly truth, but it's the truth anyway.
Luke 6:31: "Do to others as you would have them do to you."
China: "Do to others as they do to you."
Besides almost everything? I mean, people walk around sporting stuff with '666' on it.
mArtiAn:
Big deal, I used to wear a t-shirt with 'Smoke crack and worship Satan' printed on it. Does that necessarily make me 'none Christian'?
Hold up, yeh, I didn't think that through, it kind of does really, doesn't it?
Scandinavian:
well, as long as they don't have the number 616 anywhere, that is the real devil number according to recent revelations of what is wrong with interpretations of the bible
Do unto others?
You mean that concept that we know was in the scriptures of the Chinese while in the west people were still ritually murdering people to please their God?
I'd rather not take biblical preaching as a moral compass thanks. It's true that there are some nice titbits but they get lost amongst the genocide, slavery, rape, ritual killing, mistreatment of women, genocide, witch burning, homophobia, genocide, child abuse, totalitarianism, genocide, racism, eternal damnation for thoughts and ummmmmm oh yeah genocide.
GOD
Hulk:
I'm downvoting this post, and the one below it (repost) because I don't think God is the most non-Christian "thing" in China.
From what I have noticed He is missing in many places. He still abides in the hearts of his chosen though GBTTKF
Hulk:
He's everywhere. I could show you some pretty neat things, but I also can't.

I think trying to apply christian ideas on a decidely non-religious state is a fruitless endeavour. If you go looking for it you're going to find a WHOLE LOT of stuff. But then again you'll find a similar amount of 'un-Christian' things outside of China, and more and more so everyday!
