My hot water "tank" and my kitchen gas range thing only work if the batteries work....and believe me I have replaced them a few times..... if only the batteries were good for more than a month or 2............same BS for 5-7000 hour light bulbs... change every 2 months..... or the tube fluorescent bulbs, ...they don't die, the "ballast" thing does....every couple months it seems...............constantly fixing something here.....electrical and plumbing...... think they are just too new at having this in a home.... maybe next generation it will work "properly".
I just don't remember ever having so many little issues ....driving me nuts!!!! fix it dammit.... see you in 5-10 years!!!
Main problem here is the constant changing of bulbs and tubes. Ikea bulbs is a savior...
Same here, kitchen gas feed needs cell batteries, which are empty always at the worst time (evening, when it's time to cook and we are late). Why they need those batteries ? I've seen this *only* in China. Meh.
Scandinavian:
There is still some million customers for gas ranges that do not have mains power in their homes... in China that is.
Thanks for the reminder.... I used my last pair of D cells last week .
On the matter of light bulbs, yes it's very annoying. They should come with a variable rating. 60W new, reducing to 5W within a week. And then the light fittings crumble as you try to change the bulb. What should be a two minute job to change a bulb becomes a two day project to find a replacement fitting.
I agree it is crazy on how they work. very crazy. give me an old fashioned wood stove it needs no fixing, just a cleaning and gives good heat in the winter.
