it seems in this day and age everyone looks down,no one ever seems to look up.
Do you look up?
I look straightforward, I wear mirrored sunglasses most of the time, the ultimate anti-stares weapon, if they stare at me, they see their ugly face and stop staring.

I had a friend once who threw a flaming wok out of the 20th floor in his apartment. He got burned when the oil caught fire...and I guess his first thought was to throw the wok out the window. No one got killed thank goodness.
The missus and I don't take our phones when we go out together. It's amazing the shit you see.

i'd have trouble climbing th stairs if i didn't.
every person looks up occasionally.
even THINGS look up from time to time.
Most of the hazards in China come from below (open-man holes, crap, broken roads, some child running in the streets) or spontaneously around some random corner.
I look around. Photography is my hobby so I am always looking all ways, imaginging how what I see could be framed.
Ok, I admit I am not very good at photography, but looking at the world as if you were a photographer is a good way to see more of the world Up, down, left right and even upside down.
