I am familiar with the characteristics of the western zodiac signs, and how your sign is supposed to affect the personality.
Do the Chinese zodiac signs also have similar beliefs? Do they think that your personality would be different if your sign is a snake, a tiger or a horse?
yes I know for the dog they consider you to be friendly and loyal. I know that because that's my sign in Chinese Zodiac....plus someone told me this before.
mArtiAn:
Year of the dog. That's a handy one. License to piss in the street. Wahey.
Nope, I don't know (or want to know) the western ones damned if I'm going to raise any interest in Chinese ones. Supernatural is BS no matter how old it is or where it originated.
e.g. The 'western' horoscope omitted a 13th star sign, (Ophiucus (sp?) and one of the 12 'animals' called by Buddha (or whoever) was an imaginary animal (Dragon), and based on these items they can forecast our futures and our natures?
Yeah of course.............. now if you believe that I've got an incredibly valuable 3 legged donkey I just MAY be willing to sell...............................
mArtiAn:
Wow, I want it! I want that donkey! Bit stuck for cash at the moment, but i've got some magic beans I got off some bloke in the market the other day if they'll do.
Yes, I am a Dragon, so beware. I am supposed to be a "super positive person"
I am an unquenchable fire, the center of all energy, the stout heroic heart. I am truth and light, I hold power and glory in my sway. My presence disperses dark clouds. I have been chosen to tame the Fates.
The thing about dispersing dark clouds seems to not be working for me right now
mArtiAn:
Well i'm a monkey, which apparently makes you and me perfectly compatible in nature.
So that's nice.
Scandinavian:
yes, that is why at the zoo they keep the dragons next to the monkeys
mArtiAn:
Yeh, ok, I don't know what kind of Harry Potter zoo you've got in your neighbourhood, but i'll have three tickets for Sunday if they're going.
I don't know anything much about astrology, but i'm more than willing to consider it with interest. The moon dictates the movement of the tides, right? We're all made of water or something. So much so that it's a wonder we're not all drowning, but it still goes toward suggesting that such large bodies of matter floating around in the heavens, might likely have some influence upon us too. Can't say I know much about the Chinese zodiac per se, but I do know i'm a monkey, and I must say.........I 'am' very fond of scratching my bum. Haha...maybe there's something in it.
