I was getting my hair cut and was thinking what disease would I get if I am scratched by those long finger nails the Guys have. I don't have much hair on top!

Not much other than the usual infections you may get with any open wound reguardless of how it was caused.
then why you have to let long dirty finger nails on your top? you wanted it..maybe
Alex66:
No I don't want it at all, but they have one or two long nails because ther aren't peasants or workers. I can't tell them to cut there nails because this is where I live and I am not going to go around and try to find a hairdresser with short nails, because all of them have at least one or two long nails (the guys). I even worry about the girls with long nails and they have ten of them and man they scratch it in when they wash my hair!!
thats possible untill the person who scratch you does not have any disease, if he having hepatitis a,b,c or jaundice its possible he can give it even another other skin or transferable disease
I suppose you should see the WC they use, to understand my question!!
You could get a disease by someone just touching you on the arm. While they may have long finger nails, they're not the ones you need to watch out for. It's the old folks. They tend to have the long, jagged, probably dirty finger nails. If I got scratched really bad I'd think about getting a tetanus shot.
You wouldn't catch a disease, but I agree you could get an infection which could lead to a worse off situation. Unless the person has Aids and he cuts himself then scratches your head open with his long finger nail and let's the blood drop on your head from the top I wouldn't worry about it.

bad mattaya if the blood is flowing out of a person the aids cannot get into the blood from new blood touching its like throwing water at a water fall very unlikely.
didn't your have gay crack addicts explain this like mine did, i am not joking that is how they do it where i live.
According to lore and legend, only if the person is a Zombie!

??? I'm sure that's only from bites, not scratches.. my brother was once scratched by a werewolf, and he didn't turn the next full moon. (had to keep him chained up and in a cage for a couple of days, and nothing happened... but damn, silver bullets are expensive!)
GuilinRaf:
Not scratches? Cool!
Glad to hear your brother is all right! And its not just the silver bullets, but the ruined clothing, the shredded furniture and if it rains, there is that "wet dog" smell that just does not go away...
Jíliú.hé:
cost like ten grand to neuter a werewolf. i think is like the 3 most dangers job in the world.
Yes, you can... but it depends on exactly where those nails have been. Not overly different to a scratch from a nail, or splinter. - it's not the nail (or splinter) to worry about, but what's on it!
If another person scratches and breaks the skin (not all scratches break skin) and his/her fingers are um... unclean, then yes, germs can pass. Generally, anti-bacterial soap will clean it up and an antiseptic ointment like Neosporin will keep ya safe. Generally.
If you do get scratched and the skin breaks, keep an eye on it for a few days, and watch for signs of infection. Redness, puss, tenderness around the site. ANY sign and get your ass to the doctor.
You could turn Chinese, OMG say it isn't sooooo. Or you could become the men who literally look more womanly than the woman, ahhhhhh run run runnnnnn
yes zomberisum
any time the skin is broken there is a risk.
