Q: Do you think white fever is going?
I think Chinese girl are not crazy about white men now。
LOL, for "White Fever" to go away it needs to exist in the first place. Why is it that some people always need to find weird justification as to the existence of WM/AF couples? Yellow fever and White fever, hahaha please, my loved one has photos of handsome Chinese guys on her phone.
I don't go around trying to find odd justifications as to "why" there are AM/WF couples, I'm just happy for them.
The harsh truth is, there isn't such thing as Color Fever, only people who love each other. However, butthurt boys who can't get laid are very real, and it's not so much a race or fever thing than because they are losers.

I bet it's just genetic, we're hardwired to resent potential partners who choose people who are "other" to us. It's natural to feel insecure like for example I'm a white male and if a really attractive white female says she only dates black guys or latino guys yeah totally I'll feel some resentment/insecurity over that as I'm sure those black or latino guys would probably feel hearing "their" woman say they only date guys like me. But me and other decent people just don't act on those feelings. If that white girl's partner is a decent guy I have no right to say a word about it. It would be none of my business. I doubt there is a single group of men or women who don't feel that way on some level.
Because i'm not insecure about attracting women I can feel happy for good people who get together, but there is still that lingering animal-brain reaction that I need to actively dismiss and think logically.
Being a decent person isn't not having petty thoughts it's just not acting on them.
What happens with Chinese guys, there really just aren't enough women to go around anyway so that insecurity really stings. Everybody pairs off there are still 20 guys left single. I still think that the % of chinese girls who would even be willing to date a westerner at all is lower than people would guess. They're just aggressive about it.
You have this group of people they feel can just "show up" and get a decent job (kinda true), will have girls throwing themselves at them (also kinda true) and just have this free ride while they struggle to get a date at all. Of course 95% of people are gonna point the finger and say the "other" group is wrong (or that the women are wrong, race traitors or whatever) instead of looking in the mirror.
Its much easier to sit around moping and writing online comments than to develop yourself. Hit the gym, eat more protein, read more books, develop social skills, improve posture, any of the things to actually change your prospects.
For the record I tend to date european girls, just my preference, and of course a lot of the same thing is true in a lot of the poorer EU countries and eastern europe. Bulgarian guys aren't going to be happy that a swiss, UK or US guy can just show up and get all this attention. It's not a racial thing like here but it's still sexual arbitrage. Our average is the exceptional for tons of places.

Maybe, maybe not. I suggest you begin a comprehensive research project to find out. I suggest interviewing 50% of the female population in every province. You can then publish the results to a scientific journal. I am sure they will stop focusing on silly things such as medical breakthroughs and show your work.

Too much propaganda against dating foreigners in Chinese mass media recently, consequently the majority of girls in 4th-tier cities and around half in 2nd-3d tier cities try to stay away from foreigners, regardless of a country. People living in 1st tier cities usually don't believe national mass media. So make your conclusions, what part of China you want to live in.

In fact, I think there are more girls now who are educated, refined and want to meet foreign guys. I've been asked twice recently by local girls if I had any friends I could introduce them too.

Sadly, you spent your entire life in China and was was seriously brain damaged. You are too stupid to pick up a basic fact, 'WOMEN ARE PEOPLE!'. People want to be respected, treated right and protected. Chinese men treat women like things and kill, rape, and disfigure them on a whim. Society supports this mentality and women are getting tired of it. Many of the people working their ass of to leave are young beautiful smart women. They have no problem with the ethnic features of Chinese men they just want a better life for themselves.
My advice as always to Chinese men, EVOLVE ALREADY!!

i think the problem is the lack of proper parenting.
adolescents who are prevented from forming opposite sex relationships when going through puberty don't develop the social skills needed for healthy and realistic understanding of the opposite sex.
Combine this with a retarded attitude to sex education and information (mostly incorrect or unhealthy) gained from the internet and TV is a recipe for man-child and princess personalties.
Evidence can be seen by the 'hurt feelings' many display for imagined slights.

Expanding on Englteachted a friend of mine has just returned from her home town over the Qingming holiday. A bright and outward looking young lady of 26 who is ambitious to see Australia for one year before coming back to get married. She wanted me to meet her prior to the holiday due to a "big problem", That being that her family have been putting the pressure on her to give up her dream of travel in order to get married earlier, something to do with her younger brother wanting to get married and she should be married first. She asked what she should do. I just advised her to listen to the parent's reasoning but to also clearly put her point of view and ask that they respect her opinion as well, as I said to her "Be true to yourself". She does want the better life but her family, country folk, are clearly not respecting her as a person but merely as a part of the family and parents always know best so she should do as she is told. I just find it so sad that women here are treated as little more than a commodity to be treated the way the oldest members of the family think suitable. She is taking me to lunch tomorrow so I will find out how things went.
She has said things to me like "If I go to Australia I don't know if my boyfriend would wait for me" and "why doesn't my boyfriend treat me as well as you do" as well as other similar things. The boyfriend is an old school colleague of hers and they have been together less than nine months. I say together as she is in one city and he in another and they do not appear to see a lot of each other. I suspect more family pressure to get married and produce children before she is "too old".
My advice to Chinese families is Pull Yourselves Out of The Middle Ages, this is the 21st century not the 14th.

An intelligent young woman of 27 who works as a nurse got the opportunity to study in Canada, but was bullied out of it by her bf and her family.
She is clearly upset at missing this opportunity but felt she had to do what her family and bf wanted.
A recipe for disaster in the future when it manifests itself in a bitter marriage and begrudging family 'duties'.
To Sorrel: I cannot directly reply to your comment so am having to do it this way. The young lady I spoke of is a very close friend of mine and I can only promise her a shoulder to cry on when she needs it and promise that I will always be here for her. I believe in supporting my friends clearly more then her family believe in supporting her. She made me promise we would never, ever lose each other as friends when she does marry. I am older than her parents and it seems so sad to me that I appear to be the only person who is prepared to offer her encouragement and support her when she should be getting that sort of support from her boyfriend and her family. We are close friends and I am happy to do it for her but I should not be the only one. Unfortunately I can see the position coming that she will wake up one morning in a not particularly satisfying marriage and say to herself "where the hell did my life go". I told her this and advised her to be very certain before getting married, as I know when it goes wrong there is a lot of pain on the way out.

I have seen this again and again where i am the recipient of similar confidences and it disgusts me the petty ego's disguised as tradition that force girls (mainly) into years of unhappiness to give themselves 'face'.
It is rarely about the daughter's happiness.
The flip side is the narcissistic 'princesses' who will get a jolt of reality when they wake up in a marriage that does not match the 'fairy tale' they believed to expect from life.

Tomcat - you're right... it is 14th C mentality... at least, our 14th C. In China, it was only a few decades ago. That they were still in an agricultural society, and therefore the need to have children to look after the farm - and the parents when they died - was what was done.
What these nongs (and yes, I'm actually using the word in the meaning it actually has... as well as the insult :D) don't realise is that having said person (boy or girl - it really doesn't matter which) is FAR better 'investment'* than having them come back and get married and drop off a rugrat. If they go to Canada or Australia or where-ever, get themselves educated, and maybe find a nice partner, not only will they bring in a lot more money, but they can be happy too. With the prices of housing in China, buying mum & dad a new house for their retirement isn't much of a hassle (for eg, the nurse). Especially with some of the prices in Nongsville at less than $1000/sqm. (and, for those not in Nongsville, the price of a nice home in the western world can be cheaper than in some cities here).
(* yeah - education is an investment, and so, having the child educated is an investment.. and yeah, they expect to see a return on that investment - which is fair enough. What's NOT fair enough, is to put in the investment, and then hamper any chance of getting returns - that's just plain stupid!)
