Chinese Scientist in Milwaukee caught stealing secrets and trying to claim a cancer fighting drug was his, how many times can this happen in one year, and I am one of the people responsible for immigrating these idiots, thumbs down all around people.
Yeah, he probably was going to take it come back here and sell it. What a pity! Trying to claim you did something remarkable only to have found out that you were a thief all along. Now the only thing he'll be known as is a criminal...
he went from scientist to a criminal overnight!!
Not your fault. you can only go on the information given to you
In order to become a U.S. citizen -- in addition to being an immigrant, having completed the appropriate tests and such -- you must simply prove that you're a "good person," but it's so mind-numbingly easy to fake. I know quite a few extremely immoral immigrants (green card fraud is very common).
All U.S. immigration should carry conditions. If it can be proven that immigration was fraudulent, even citizenship should be revoked no matter how many years transpired. Permanent residence should also be revoked, but rarely is.

I find it highly amusing that it is really rather difficult for a UK citizen to emigrate to the US but a lot easier for some Chinese spy or Nigerian scammer.

Hulk: Aren't you working in China illegally? What's the difference?
Hulk:
True. I am an illegal, unqualified and unskilled everything. But damn, at least I'm making bank.
Hulk:
Oh, I didn't realize that. I should make up more stories then. Maybe I'll make even more bank.
Nope. Will never end, and I love laughing at these idiots as they squirm in a country with laws that they didn't seem to realize existed.
@techeze, you're in immigration? Can I get some blank visas or at least one good one?
Nevermind, too true, too true, I guess that is why Sat. night live used to always use the Chinese jokes of, what, but I didn't get the email, it is also the reason the financial immigration to Canada was Sh*t canned the same year America expanded it by 3 years, there is no actual economic benefit to the financial immigration, until now, and I am wondering and chewing some things over with colleagues, Obama enacted a law stating that all green card holders are now liable to pay federal tax on all on and offshore assets, yet the Chinese still try to hide there money in HK or Switzerland, is it possible that the forethought of Asia's soon to be economic crisis and the thought that they do not want to come home for there would be repercussions here, a way for the IRS to really puck them? It wasn't that long ago that green card holders had up to 5 years before they were liable to pay federal taxes, in which ownership to a relative could be transferred and continue doing this avoiding all taxes, makes one wonder.
Sorry Ted, I don't work for the embassy, I work as an immigration specialist with most of my time being spent with financial investments but also cover K 1&2 visas for America and a specialist in spousal and right to marriage visas for Canada, just dealt with a case that seems to be catching on, gay marriage between Chinese and Canadian, because of the sensitive issue of nature, the couple "dudes" where granted a green card much faster than normal, now America has prop 8 overturned, could this be our next trend for green card hunters. I also do some import/export and tax laws but to be honest, I'm not very good at tax laws, math makes my head hurt. Sorry bud, no blank visas in my office "cubicle".

I knew my GF had a slim to nothing chance for a visitors visa, it cost me $450 when done. I felt the only consideration was long enough to ink the denied stamp. All we were asking was 2 months.
What is the penalty for such a crime in Canada ?
TedDBayer:
You can get away with anything in Canada, fraud seems easy.
