I am German and we are planning to move back to Europe soon and I was wondering whether we should live and work in the UK?
After the Brexit, I am now not too sure whether it will be difficult for chinese wife to move there with me.
Any advice on this would be appreciated.

unless she has German citizenship or some other EU countries citizenship then No.
My wife has Australian permanent residence but is still a Chinese citizen so if we want to go to say England I hsve duel citizenship so i don't need a visa but she does
This forum is so the wrong place to ask! Try the immigration websites of the country you want to go to!
Also, does your wife want to remain a Chinese citizen? If she goes for EU citizenship, then that sort of answers your question.
(Because the ppl on here have been married and visas arranged ete for a while - ie, not since Brexit!).

This forum can be the right place to ask as some of us have looked into the requirements :-)

@Hots - I was being specific on the Brexit bit - not taking it as a general immigration question.

Fair enough. Until Brexit is triggered and finalized the rules are the same. The biggest problem the OP has is what happens after Brexit. Will they then need to leave the U.K. or not? At the moment no one has a clue.
I'm British and my wife is Chinese. If I wanted to move back to the U.K. with my wife she would need a settlement visa. For her to get this I'd need to earn a minimum of £18,600/year salary (before taxes). For her to move their immediately with me I'd need to prove I'd earned that for at least a year in China AND have a job lined up in the U.K. that paid at least that. Otherwise I'd need to move back on my own and earn that for 6 months before she could apply for this visa in China.
At the moment, as Brexit hasn't been started yet, you'd have to comply with the same rules as an EU citizen.
Thanks a lot for all the quick answers. No, my chinese wife will keep her chinese citizenship and she will only apply for a residence permit and work visa to live and work in the EU. We a property in the UK and are now planning to move to the UK or the EU.
We have asked both the German and British embassies in China and but they only suggested us to check out their websites. I thought it might be quicker to get some advices from people here who have had similiar experience on this.
