I get more satisfaction from helping others than a small stroke of my ego, so points, titles or gifts are meaningless to me.  I came to China and suffered many adverse situations for lack of knowledge, and learned my way bumping my head with many obstacles.  If I can save others from the same fate, then I am rewarded enough.  And in the process of doing so, I have met many wonderful friends.

In doing so, I am very selective in which questions I answer.  Those that ask for advise or how to solve a problem or a situation, will get a reply from me, those that seek confrontations, or to prove that China is better or worse than any other country, will only get my silence.

That is the way I get my kicks, and I respect other members way to get theirs, just do not participate.  If you check my posting records, you will see that I answer as many questions as are asked each day, and in many occassions over 10 of them, for which I do not get points.

Now, if someday one of the gifts appeals to me, like for example free or discounted air travel, hotel stays, tour packages or even cruise ship cabins, then I will give consideration to cashing in some of the points accumulated.   Until then, I pay no attention to them.

Ninja Boy: Again, not an answer, not a discussion, just a put down. How would you like it if everybody went on your blog, and made the same rude and aggressive statements about your posts that you make here? You would either not approve the comments, or delete them quickly. Show some respect to others. If you have nothing constructive to say, say nothing.

Are you just posting for the sake of extra points?

Not at all. I'm here for fun and whether I have 5 or 5000 points will not make any difference.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
