It's not that difficult...I want plain white natural yogurt. Walmart doesn't have any. Carrefour doesn't have any.
Anyone know where in Beijing you can find some, and how much they go for? Thanks!
To be honest I'm not too familiar with Beijing but I'm sure you could get it from a Kazakh or Kyrgyz sort of shop. Well I live in Xinjiang and you get find it easily here. Oh actually also there are Hui vendors who sell it so you will have probably more luck with them.
And it's really not sweet, super sour.
To me this is unsweetened yogurt, no fruit taste either.
It comes in a plastic container, 150 grs size, cost 3 yuan, and outside it is white and has a bunch of blue chinese characters, On top, on black, has what's looks like two mountains, and in red some more Chinese characters.
In pinyin says " Huang Shi Lao Suan Nai".
Wlmart locally do not carry it, but small neighborhood grocery stores do have it at the cold section.
Again, it is the closest to unsweetened yogurt I have found from the taste.
