One of the best ways to save money is by buying your food at a grocery store. You could cook up some eggs for breakfast and make an omelette which shouldn't cost you that much. It would save you a lot of money. I think you can get about a dozen eggs for less than 20 kuai.

For lunch just buy bread slices the healthiest kind for you would be the whole wheat kind. Little more expensive than white bread but more healthier for you. You can buy a slab of meat and add on some cheese and have yourself a sandwich for lunch. Don't forget to buy the milk for your drink instead of coke beverages.

Vegetables usually cost close to nothing.

Make salads, I guess.

Definitely buy food at the supermarket. Vegetables are nearly free, but the chicken is also cheap.

Vegetables, salads made out of it. Use sesame oil as a a dresser and/or soya sauce. Consider some chicken once per week and buy it the same day done. Bread it could be more expensive but it worths the price given the chance to complete the list of nutritional needs per day. Complete your meals with some fruits.
The following rule looks to scientifically be well approved: 5 types of fruits and 5 types of vegetables per day. If you can get yourself a 5 vegetables salads dressed at your will, then it will provide you with healthy vitamins and minerals for your body and mind and of course for your spirit.
Avoid sugar. Drink honey teas and water and that would be helpful too in terms of energy sources. As you've been told already, avoid soda beverages and the garbage from McDo.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
