Q: Ever play 'Six Degrees of Separation'?
From Wikipedia: Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps.
So it's like this, someone submit a name of any person in the world (works best if it's someone we might possibly have heard of as it's hard to find a connection to say, your next door neighbor), then someone else must find a connection between themself and that person in six steps or less, only rule being that each step must equate to two people having actually met, not just "My mate saw Leonardo De Caprio in a crowd, so that's two steps. Me to my mate, my mate to Leo."
Here, I'll set an example using Mr De Caprio. Random choice but I'm confident I can do it, the more famous the easier it is actually.
Ok, got it in three. Leo has been in a movie with Tom Hardy recently / Tom Hardy was on a talk show with host Jonathan Ross some years back / I spoke to J Ross at the traffic lights about 25 years ago. Three steps.
More challenging the more obscure the person is, so.....choose a name.
I understand the point of this game, but I disagree with the concept.
For example, When Prince Charles visited Scotland, my dad carried his suitcase.
Does that make my dad important? Does it fuck. Is Prince Charles important because my dad carried his case... nope. of course not.
The woman who sweeps the street outside my house. Is she important? Hell yes.
Who has the most impact on my life?
The humble street sweeper or the Ducthess of Cambridge.

There isn't any point to it, it's like join the dots, just an exercise in making connections. Got nothing to do with importance, though since you mention Prince Charles, I can make that in 4. My brother used to drink with the bloke who broke into the queen's bedroom. My bro to him, him to queen, queen to Charlie. The more famous the easier it is. Get it in 3 or less and you win.

Yeh, the queen woke up to find him on her bed. He had a chat with her. My brother met him when he was working in a bar in north London.
I'm only 3-4 steps away from most big-names in the music industry around the world. I worked with a guy who went to school and was sort of mates with one of Australia's premier alternate bands - hence, they would have met all the others.. who in turn would have met....
Also - in less steps - I had conversations (email) with a couple of presenters for a power/prog metal radio show... who obviously had interviewed lots of famous people/bands (that most of you have never heard of 
- although, you can bet that they've then connected up with most of the people that you have heard of!)

Yeh, the bigger the name the easier it is but you can't go on guesswork, like, he probably met him, etc. You've got to place each step, person for person. I've got one for you to try and connect if you're up for it: Desmond Tutu.
