Q: Is fingerprinting necessary?

The School Manager claims to have lost some money (cash) placed on the table. Now, she has asked that the foreign teachers have their fingerprinting done tomorrow. Should we accede? What are the pitfalls in getting it done. This is urgent and so your quick responses are needed. Thanks!

Don't do it. It may not be helpful to identify the suspect, plus as GR said above they could use it for other purposes. BTW, why not take finger prints of Chinese teachers as well? Is it because only foreign teachers have access to the office, or only foreigners steal money?!

Yes, you need to accede in order to succeed! If you don't do as they say they might take it a step further and call the police on you. Now you wouldn't want that to happen, would you? If you are innocent what do you have to worry about anyways? Go get em' Show them you aren't scared!

He he, I said: "innocent"! (Drunk!

Cop is holding box of matches on the palm of his R hand. He tries to figure it out, if there are any matches left in the box. He is starring at the box, butt....he cannot see through the cardboard.

So, he lifts his R hand (with the matchbox) to his R ear and then,..... he shakes his headsurprise.

Doesn't really matter, which 'force' manager should callangel .

the things some schools are asking foreigners to do are getting more and more intrusive and outrageous.                                                                                                                  Don't do it - you don't know what else it will be used for

I would say to the school manager that he can have my fingerprints after himself and all the Chinese teachers have given theirs to a proper criminal investigator.

In Nanning most places of work (not just schools) have electronic fingerprint machines to log into and log out of work a bit like the old clocking in and out system only using fingerprints. If they already do that, I don't see any difference to giving them these ones.
